TOUR PROFILE: The Lake Constance cycle path runs mainly on cycle paths or on quiet side- streets, which are mostly asphalted. The largest part of the route leads you in close proximity along the lake shore and is signed throughout. 135 Kilometres

Individual arrival in the university town of Constance. There is enough time to explore the city with its numerous sights. You can end the evening either with a fancy dinner in one of the many restaurants or with a beer in one of the lively taverns.

Your journey first leads you via a dam lined with poplar trees onto the island Reichenau. You then travel to Radolfzell, where you can admire the crooked alleys with beautiful nobility and patrician houses. You continue your journey on small paths around the Höri peninsula to Stein am Rhein. With its town gates and colourful houses decorated with frescoes, Stein am Rhein is one of the best-preserved medieval small towns in Switzerland. Visit the Lindwurm museum before you reach Gailingen, the pearl of the High Rhine.

Immerse yourself in the magic of the Munot town of Schaffhausen today. A unique city with medieval facades, magnificent 171 oriels and winding streets. The Rhine cycle path then takes you to the next highlight. Don't miss the impressive natural phenomenon of the Rhine Falls. At 23 meters high and 150 meters wide, it is one of the largest waterfalls in Europe.

Through picturesque fishing villages you reach Ermatingen, where you can visit the Vinorama Museum. The cycle path then leads back to Constance. Enjoy the Mediterranean climate while strolling through the winding streets of the old town. You will find living Middle Ages in the Rosgartenmuseum, where the cafeteria in the inner courtyard invites you to linger. Your luggage will be made available for collection in Constance by 5:30 p.m. at the latest.
